NOTIONS

           What are notions?   Notions are things like:

©      Toothpaste

©      Toothbrushes (soft bristle)

©      Soap (not Ivory)

©      Shampoo

©      Q-tips                                 

©      Dental Floss

©      Dish soap

©      Hair Spray

©      Zip-loc bags

©      Dish soap

©     Conditioner

©      Etc. Etc. 

 

Any item that you use in your daily life our missionaries use also.  Our M-pact and Teen Girl Clubs collect these items throughout the year.  Every June, at Great Girls' Escape, the clubs bring these items to the the GREAT NOTIONS PARADE.  The items are then sorted by the girls and shelved in the HEART TO HEART Room.  We then are able to bless our home and foreign missionaries with these items while they are home on furlough and as they return to their fields of ministry.

IDEA:  Have a “Notion of the Month” and ask each girl to bring in that item sometime during the month.

Invite your girls to be involved in MISSIONS by collecting notions!
