Inspire your girls to change their world with the new Girls Ministries theme song, "Honor You." The lyrics keep girls focused on the purpose of their relationship with God. "All I Long For" is a worshipful reminder of God's desire for our lives. "Honor You" is suggested for use at club meetings and retreats, while "All I Long For" is recommended for Celebrations.

We're over halfway to our goal of $125,000 for our 2008 Coins for Kids project, the Bolivian Hope Center. Contributions for the Bolivian Hope Center can be made until March 31, 2009. If you would like your contribution to receive 2008 giving credit, please make sure to send it by December 31, 2008. Following is the latest update from missionaries Rich and Sandee Farthing regarding their work with the prison children and the Bolivian Hope Center.

After hundreds of hours of design, field study, and development, the national BGMC office has launched a new kids' Web site packed with fun, intrigue, and resources that challenge kids to reach their world (where they live) and the world for Jesus!

Eleven-year-old Kayla diagnosed with a fast-growing brain tumor. Doctor gives mother, Amy, the choice of having an operation that has 5 percent chance of success or brain tumor killing her daughter (if tumor continued to grow at current rate) in as little as two weeks. Amy chooses to not risk surgery and places Kayla's life in God's hands. Church prays over Kayla -- two days later another scan taken. Tumor is gone and stunned doctor says it's a miracle!

Over the past 15 years, Girls Ministries has given more than $1.3 million to assist U.S. and World Missions missionaries in their efforts to meet needs and reach children and families for Christ. This past fiscal year, which concluded April 1, 2008, Girls Ministries groups from around the country joined together to give a record-smashing $169,000 towards this year's targeted ministry, Touched Romania. The previous record was $115,000.
